Best friends

Aaron is becoming aware of relationship dynamics on a different level. He's starting to understand that some relationships are more special, deeper than others. As a result, we've been hearing "you're my bestfriend" or "your my bestest forever" quite a bit lately. One day last week, it was followed by the naming of several other bestfriends. Last on the list was the mail-lady. Who isn't bestfriends with the gal that brings you fun packages and letters???
This morning, we seemed to have moved from best friendships, to simply the best...
"Your pillow is the best pillow, it's the softest"
"Your blanket is the best blanket 'cause it's the fuzziest"
"and so are you, mommy. You are the best 'cause you are the mommy. Mommies are always the bestest."
I hope when he's grown, gone and living his own journey of parenthood that he'll remember that I'm his "bestest forever".

Parker's soggy and Aaron's got jelly in his hair...

No major news to share and no time really for blogging right now, so I thought I'd just share these two funnies...

A few weeks ago, I put hair gel in Aaron's hair and spiked it. All day long, he walked around telling everyone "Mommy put jelly in my hair to make it pointy".

Last night, I was helping Parker dress after his bath and he said...
"I'm all soggy and funky"
