Snowy days

Parker much preferred staying in and eating cookies while the big kids played in the snow. I was trying to get one decent picture before we went in and this was the best I could get. As soon as I snapped it he said, "Now I get a cookie?"


Most kids want to build a snowman. Not mine. Rock and Mag spent a great deal of time making paths all over the yard. They used rakes and sometimes snow shovels, a time or two, I even saw Rocklin just using his hands. At the end of day two, they had several paths leading from the door to various areas of the yard. No one appreciated it quite as much as Rafferty. the snow was so deep, he had trouble walking so was grateful for their hard work.


Jay had a great time sliding down the slide and landing in the snow. He repeatedly piled the snow up just so he could slide down and plow into it.

Aaron was thrilled with the snow this year. The last time we had a big storm like this was '05 and he hated it that year. As long as the snow kept off his face and hat he was good. He spent most of his time just running around, not really doing anything.
